Implications & Applications of Supreme Attributes

Abstract

The innumerable attributes of Supreme Lord Sri Krishna are inconceivable. His incarnations occur whenever irreligious (dharma) activities predominate in the material world. All the Vedic scriptures describe the activities of the Supreme Lord are meant for reminding and guiding living beings to create peace and harmony in the society with a spiritual environment and guide the transcendental path to reach His supreme abode (moksha). The Supreme Lord played an ideal role, as to teach living beings how to behave, how to survive and how to escape from this material world to attain the liberation. His attributes and teachings are extraordinary for humans to realize the purpose of life by understanding dharmic principles.

The two major tragedies of Mahabharat are Drudpadi Vasthrapahranam and sending of Brahamastram on the womb of a pregnant lady Uttar, would have been black spots and remembered as tragedies in the history of human civilization, had the Supreme Lord not stopped those timely. The present kali yuga possesses one-fourth (One Pada) of the religious activities and the remaining ¾ the full of irreligious principles like greed, lust, falsehood, cheating quarrels, etc. His amazing attributes such as physical, mental, spiritual, artistic, compassionate, and forgiving qualities, and skill, and tactics were to establish religious principles and teaching lessons to tackle the complicated issues and disputes in the society. Human behaviour makes lot of changes in the society. His activities are meant for living beings to enlighten them from the material world. The philosophical ideas body & soul, karma and three gunas have been explained through Bhagavad Gita. The transcendental and material incarnations and the 108 divine names were assigned to Him as per the extraordinary performances. The sixty-four (100%) attributes of the Supreme Lord and His activities are incredible and his teachings are the requirements for changing human behaviour of the present society and those who want to be on the path of transcendental. These implications, applications of His attributes, and teachings with divine names as per His deeds are metaphysically analysed and inferences are drawn and presented in this paper. These are human values and management skills to run a family, society and a country.
